Terms & Conditions 

Please read through these and acknowledge them before making payment. Invoice payment will assume you have agreed these terms

My office is open between 9am to 1pm daily. I will answer emails and phone calls till 5.00 pm Monday to Friday and 9-1pm Saturdays. The answerphone will operate out of hours. Emails may be answered out of hours.

1. New clients & fees: the first meeting or booked phone conversation is free. All subsequent, ongoing work (including meetings and phone calls) will be subject to charges, which will be agreed in advance. These may vary depending on the nature of work to be carried out. For new clients, a one-off deposit of £50 will be requested upfront, followed by invoices at the end of each month. The upfront deposit will be deducted from your first monthly invoice. For training sessions all fees will be requested upfront.

2. Meetings & training sessions: During meetings, consultations and training sessions, clients will be expected to turn off their mobile phone.

3. Work carried out: Work may be emailed or dropped off outside office hours.

4. Invoice payment is due on pick up of work, or 7 days after receipt of invoice. If work is ongoing, invoices will be sent at the end of each month, with a 7 day settlement period. Payments are requested by BACS. Any invoices that are not paid on time will incur a fixed rate penalty charge of 10% or £5 minimum per invoice. If the invoice remains unpaid for a further four weeks, work for the client will cease until the full amount plus the penalty charge has been paid.

5. Work delay, stopped or refused: if for any reason work must be suspended or delayed through any default of the client, SJE Marketing is entitled to immediate payment for work carried out and all expenses incurred. SJE Marketing reserve the right to refuse any work including anything considered to be illegal or unethical.

6. Loss / damage of client property: SJE Marketing will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of anything left behind at the office.  

7. Document checking: final proof reading of all work is the responsibility of the client. Any errors notified to us within 48 hours of completion of work will be corrected free of charge.

8. Confidentiality, security and data protection: all work carried out by SJE Marketing is strictly confidential and non of the client’s work will be shared or discussed with another party. Sue is happy to sign a confidentiality agreement if required. SJE Marketing do not accept any responsibility for any viruses transmitted via email or documents. The computer system used by SJE Marketing is virus, spyware and password protected.

SJE Marketing
